Hi, I'm Zarko.
Frontend engineer,
passionate traveller,
occasional photographer.
I'm a frontend engineer based in Niš, Serbia, working mostly with teams in Norway and Serbia. Eight years deep — currently working on various projects for Ilder (Nordlo).
My day job is operational SaaS: vessels, chargers, buses, fish farms, dashboards a port authority uses on a bridge at 4 AM. The kind of product where uptime matters and the UI has to be readable before the coffee kicks in.
Off the clock I'm usually outside. I grew up moving — and I never quite stopped. Most weekends are a road, a hike, or a flight; long-haul when I can swing it, day-trips into the mountains when I can't.
I shoot with my phone, mostly. I keep a running list of kafanas. I think good software and good travel have something in common: they feel effortless where they should, and memorable where it matters.
I work as a contractor and through long-term collaborations. Comfortable owning a product's frontend, joining an existing team, or being the only frontend person in a room of backend engineers.

When I'm not shipping code.
